A leading power solutions provider is seeking a Yard Engineer based in Birmingham, responsible for servicing and maintaining generators for the hire fleet. The role includes repairs at customer sites and requires qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong fault-finding abilities, and communication skills. Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or similar required.
• Experience servicing diesel generators is accepted.
• Forklift Truck Licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, service, and maintain generators for the hire fleet.
• Carry out repairs on generators at customer sites.
• Assist with loading and offloading equipment.
• Operate a forklift truck as needed.
