Job Description
Wernick Power, a recent addition to the Wernick Group, is a national provider of temporary power generation solutions. We are seeking Service Engineers to uphold the operational functionality and presentation of Wernick Power Solutions (WPS) equipment, including generators, diesel tanks, distribution systems, cabling, and associated ancillaries. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, attend breakdowns and repairs, and perform installation and commissioning tasks while maintaining our high standards of customer service, safety, and quality.
Please note, you will be required to be on call – this is on a rota basis and you will receive additional pay for being on call and paid for any call outs you do.
Skills and experience in mechanical or electrical disciplines relevant to the scope of equipment involved in the role.
Adequate skills for performing competent maintenance routines, whether in field service or depot‑based roles.
In‑depth skills for competent fault diagnosis, dismantling, repair, and testing of the defined equipment type, for repair roles.
Experience in working with generator engines is essential; applications without this experience will not be considered.
