A primary school in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a supportive team. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to inspire pupils, and a patient disposition. Responsibilities include working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups under the Class Teacher's direction. The position offers competitive salaries and a fixed-term contract until August 2027, working 30 hours per week.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed teaching assistant to join our happy, hardworking team to work under the direction of the Class Teacher. You will need to be resilient as well as demonstrating a patient approach and the ability to inspire and motivate.

Salary: £24,796- £25,989 per annum, pro rata (General Teaching Assistant)
Salary: £24,413 per annum, pro rata (Midday Supervisory Assistant)
Grade: CD SCP3-6 (General Teaching Assistant)
Grade: B SCP 2 (Midday Supervisory Assistant)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2027.
Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.30 am – 3.00 pm, term time only (plus training days) with a 15-minute morning break & 20-minute lunch.
