Job description
Day Team General Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Day Team General Operative to join our team.

Location: Barnstone, NG13 9JT

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, primarily 6:00am - 2:00pm. Flexibility is required, as hours may vary depending on time of year and specific project requirements. Alternative shifts may include 8:00am - 4:00pm or 12:00pm - 8:00pm, subject to request.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last 3 years, with some operational experience
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding labouring tasks

Licence Flexibility

We would also consider candidates who do not currently hold an externally accredited Counterbalance FLT licence, provided they are willing to obtain one. In such cases, after an initial period of approximately three months—once the candidate is settled and satisfied with the role—the individual would be expected to self-fund an external FLT licence. During this initial period, candidates would not be permitted to operate FLTs. This approach allows both the company and the employee to ensure the role is a suitable long-term fit prior to making the financial commitment.
