Overview

As a Project Manager at Benchmark Capital, you will lead initiatives that drive business and technology transformation. Based at our Broadlands Business Campus in Horsham, you will deliver projects that enable organisational change, improve client outcomes, and enhance our position in financial‑planning technology. Working closely with senior leaders, external partners and the PMO, you embed robust governance, manage risk and promote adoption of new processes and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, business‑critical projects that drive value realisation, balancing timelines, budgets, stakeholder needs and quality.
  • Design, develop and orchestrate comprehensive project plans, prioritising tasks and managing resources, scope, risks and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through strong relationships and regular, transparent communication to foster trust and project success.
  • Apply structured change‑management frameworks, craft transition plans, engage stakeholders early, define responsibilities, deliver targeted training and ensure seamless integration into business‑as‑usual operations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office to provide accurate forecasting, reporting, resource allocation and management.
  • Drive proactive risk and issue management, identify, assess and mitigate risks, manage RAID, and promote a robust risk culture across projects.
  • Forecast, monitor and control project expenditure; balance resource demand with delivery capacity to deploy the right skills at the right time.
  • Track and realise benefits, champion a value‑focused culture that integrates benefits into decision‑making, governance and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Facilitate meetings, deliver impactful presentations and produce high‑quality documentation that supports decision‑making.
Qualifications

  • Strong governance and risk management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional teams and delivering complex projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of change‑management frameworks and strong stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
