A leading recruitment agency seeks a Gas Safe Plumber for a high-end client in Chertsey. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of plumbing services in ultra-high-end mansions. Job description

TXM Recruit is currently looking for a Gas Safe Plumber to work in the Chertsey area, working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company.

Salary: £40,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available.

Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).

Key responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair hot and cold-water services, sanitation and waste disposal systems and central heating systems.
  • Installing, servicing, and repairing gas boilers, cookers, and other appliances.
  • Checking for gas leaks and ensuring proper ventilation.
  • Fix and maintain piped services, including drainage.
  • Testing of closed loop heating circuits for correct levels.
  • Assist other staff members as required.
  • Maintain inventory for plumbing materials.
  • Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
  • Seasonal shift & on call rota.
  • Any other duties as and when requested.
