Qualifications

• Horticulture qualification - NVQ 2 or RHS level 2.
• Full driving licence essential.
• Experience managing annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc.
• Skilled in identifying plant pests and diseases.
• Proficient in using handheld machinery.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of plant names and identification, Latin preferable.
• PA1 & PA6 Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head Gardener on garden upkeep.
• Perform tasks in accordance with the Club's best practices.

Skills

As a Gardener at The Royal Automobile Club, you'll be working on 350 acres of breathtaking landscape. This is a unique opportunity that encompasses not only general garden maintenance but also elements of soft and hard landscaping and the creation of bespoke planting schemes.

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday: 6.00am-2.30pm
• Every 6 weeks: 2 half days on Saturday and Sunday, maintain gardens to the required standard

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head Gardener on garden upkeep
• Perform tasks in accordance with the Club's best practices (beds, borders, hedges, lawns, and containers)

Qualifications

• Horticulture qualification - NVQ 2 or RHS level 2
• Full driving licence essential
• Experience managing annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc.
• Skilled in identifying plant pests and diseases
• Proficient in using handheld machinery
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Experience with early start timesKnowledge of plant names and identification, Latin preferable
• PA1 & PA6 Qualification
