Job Description

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out up to 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person\'s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That\'s the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don\'t. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What is on offer?

• Excellent starting salary at £43,450pa
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
• Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)

• NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
