This fun and busy family are looking for an easy going and proactive Nanny to help them in the running of their home.
The family have two boys aged 11 and 9 years who love animals and construction and enjoy playing tennis. They live in a large home in the countryside so a country loving Nanny would be ideal and someone who does not mind pets as they have two dogs, gerbils and chickens. Your duties will be child related, such as, school runs, cooking tea, supporting any homework, bedtime.
Mum works in London 2-3 days a week so more hours are required on these days. Their ideal is for someone to work 7/8am-9am and 4-7.30pm on the days Mum is in London and the other 2 days can be just afternoons. They do require some flexibility as there may be occasions when Mum is back late from London and in the school holidays your hours would be 2 days of 7.30am-7.30pm and 3 days working 4-6 hours. However they can offer up to 35 hours per week if someone is willing to do some family related admin or light household duties such as organising the children’s toys, batch cooking, walking the dogs, child-related laundry and ironing.
For all roles with children and the vulnerable, you must have an up-to-date enhanced eDBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of two professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate personal insurance.
