About the role

The Head teacher and Governors invite applications from a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who would like to join our successful school.

Responsibilities
  • The Governors are seeking someone who is an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to promote high standards of learning within their class.
  • Has experience of teaching in either EYFS or KS1.
  • Has experience of delivering phonics (Read, Write Inc).
  • Is committed to achieving and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and raising children's achievement.
  • Is able to motivate and inspire children, colleagues and the wider community.
  • Can challenge learners of all abilities, including more able children and those with additional needs.
  • Has a clear understanding of assessment for learning principles impacting on the progress of ALL groups of learners.
  • Is prepared to be involved in the wider life of the school.
  • Is committed to their own professional development.
