Motion Designer - 6-Month FTC (January Start)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for, or already hold, security clearance

Language: Fluent Russian (spoken and written)

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Motion Designer to join a multidisciplinary creative team on a 6-month fixed‑term contract starting in January. This role supports a range of government‑related projects, producing high‑quality motion graphics and animated content across digital, social, experiential, and campaign environments.

The work is fast‑paced and often sensitive, so strong judgement, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Create high‑quality motion graphics, animations, and visual assets for a variety of formats
  • Develop concepts and visual treatments that bring ideas to life across digital, social, and multimedia outputs
  • Produce both short‑form and long‑form motion pieces for campaigns and content series
  • Localise and adapt motion assets into Russian, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance
  • Work with designers, editors, and creative leads to ensure cohesion and consistency
  • Build storyboards, style frames, and motion tests to communicate ideas early in the process
  • Integrate typography, illustration, graphic elements, and sound design into polished final assets
  • Manage multiple deliverables in parallel, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
  • Contribute creative thinking and craft expertise to enhance the overall design output
About You
  • Fluent in Russian (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Motion Designer with a strong showreel covering a range of formats
  • Exceptional skills in After Effects, plus experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Comfortable working across a mix of digital, social, campaign, and multimedia environments
  • Strong sense of visual identity, composition, typography, pacing, and storytelling
  • Experience working on sensitive or government‑related communications is advantageous
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable navigating fast‑moving workflows
  • Based in London and available for hybrid working
  • Must hold security clearance, and be able to send proof.
