A leading staffing company is seeking a French Speaking Logistics Operator in Birmingham. This temporary role may become permanent for the right candidate. Responsibilities include working with French-speaking customers and managing logistics operations. FRENCH SPEAKING LOGISTICS OPERATOR

Offering a salary of £30,000 to £32,000

Monday to Friday 8am – 6.00pm (flexibility)

6-10 month Temp contract (Possible Permanent opportunity)

Based in Birmingham/Oldbury (B68)

Responsibilities

• Working with French speaking customer and suppliers
• Arrange collections and deliveries, across UK to high end customers and retailers
• Booking deliveries
• Update Transport systems with bookings and shipment status
• Complete General Transport administration
• Responding to French customers and suppliers via telephone and email
• Liaising with 3rd party haulier, drivers, internal and external departments
• Tracing and tracking and pre-advising of delivery schedules
• Taking transport enquiries

Requirements

• Experience in Logistics, Road haulage, UK Transport, Distribution industry
• Previous transport operational knowledge and experience to include route planning
• French language skills would be an advantage but not essential

Contract details

The role is initially a 6–10 month temporary contract though could become permanent for the right candidate.
