Kenton Black are recruiting for a freelance Assistant Site Manager in Aberdeen area. Our client, a leading property developer with a strong footprint across the UK—is seeking to appoint a freelance Assistant Site Manager to oversee a housing site.

Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight & Delivery: Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple locations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and minimal disruption during project delivery.
  • Team Coordination & Supervision: Oversee subcontractors and trades on site, ensuring compliance with programme schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections, snagging, and handover checks to maintain high standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Health & Safety Leadership: Champion health and safety protocols across all sites, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and issue logs, feeding into wider project tracking and client updates.
What You Bring
  • Demonstrable experience in site management within housing
  • Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and construction processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certification (essential)
