The Fragile Item Processor plays a critical role in living our values of Get It Right and Every Item is Special by ensuring the secure and accurate movement of highly unique delicate items both raw (ungraded) and graded (slabbed) through the operational pipeline. The core purpose is to maintain security accuracy and efficiency in the handling and documentation of all this position you will embody our commitment to Collector Obsession by treating each item with the care and attention it deserves.
As a key member of our operations team you will uphold our values while being responsible for end‑to‑end inventory logistics.
Receiving & Verification
Receive open and carefully verify incoming shipments of both raw (ungraded) and graded (slabbed) items against submission documentation and system records embodying our Get It Right value with meticulous attention to detail.
Conduct thorough visual inspection of items; check for condition, confirm details (e.g. certification number, grade, item description) and inspect slabs for damage treating Every Item as Special regardless of declared value.
Accurately record and input all receipt data into company database and inventory systems ensuring item quantities and descriptions match perfectly.
Identify document and put the Skunk on the Table by immediately flagging all discrepancies, damages or authentication concerns for exceptions processing.
Organise, sort and securely store received items according to established protocols demonstrating our commitment to Leading With Integrity.
Packaging & Shipping
Prepare both raw and graded items for secure dispatch selecting appropriate protective packaging materials to ensure item integrity during transit being efficient but never rushing.
Verify items against final packing lists and orders ensuring maximum protection for encapsulated and high‑value items.
Generate and apply accurate shipping labels and documentation with precision.
Process shipments through various courier systems (e.g. Royal Mail, DPD).
Meet daily productivity targets whilst maintaining the highest quality and security standards balancing efficiency with our commitment to getting it right.
General Operations & Security
Handle valuable and delicate items with appropriate care and maintain a high level of security consciousness at all times understanding that trust is our brand.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company security procedures particularly for high‑value inventory.
Maintain a clean, orderly and efficient work area (receiving and packing stations).
Participate in mandatory cross‑training across multiple operational roles as business needs evolve embracing opportunities to learn and grow your skills.
Seek feedback early and often from supervisors and colleagues to continuously improve processes and performance.
Collaborate respectfully with team members assuming positive intent and Being Kind in all interactions.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in visual inspection and data entry essential for upholding our Get It Right standard.
Strong organisational time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality standards in a fast‑paced high‑volume environment while treating every item with care.
Basic computer literacy for database entry, inventory and shipping systems.
Reliable, trustworthy and security‑conscious approach to handling high‑value inventory demonstrating integrity in all actions.
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive manual tasks and lift/move packages up to 20 kg.
Willingness to participate in cross‑training across receiving and shipping functions demonstrating curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
