A leading food company in the UK is seeking a finance professional responsible for financial reporting and planning within Procurement. This role involves leading month-end cycles, ensuring accuracy in spend reporting, and optimising finance processes. Candidates should have a good understanding of financial controls and reporting systems. The position offers a chance to drive initiatives for efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
This role is a member of the Group Supply Chain Finance team and its primary focus is to deliver financial reporting and planning activities for the diverse Nomad Procurement spend.
More specifically the role is responsible for leading all month end and forecast & budget activities and coordinating these with the Procurement Buying team, Finance Business partners and other stakeholders across Manufacturing and Commercial sites.
The role is responsible for managing and optimising the FP&A processes for this area and helping to deliver reporting and insight on Nomad’s spend, inflation and productivity initiatives.
