Job description

Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a mid-sized investment firm that has grown by c.25% over the past two years. As a result, they are now hiring an FP&A Lead to build a best-in-class FP&A function from the ground up as the business continues to scale.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of group-wide management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, moving the firm towards more robust bottom-up planning, clearer cost centre ownership and improved visibility on headcount and spend. You will act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and the CFO/COO office, delivering decision-relevant analysis on costs, investment initiatives and strategic priorities. A core part of the role will be designing and embedding FP&A processes, models and reporting frameworks, including the rollout and optimisation of systems. There are no direct reports initially, but clear scope to shape the function and build a team over time.

They are seeking a commercially minded FP&A professional from financial services with strong experience across management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and senior stakeholder engagement. Candidates should be qualified with 3+ years PQE in a relevant role.

This is a high-visibility role with long-term progression, suited to someone looking to step into a senior FP&A position with real influence over how the finance function evolves.
