A next-generation sales agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a Founding BDR for a commission-only role focused on building an outbound engine. This position offers the chance to shape messaging and directly impact the team's success by running outbound prospecting and booking meetings with high-value prospects. Clayworks is a next-generation outbound & sales-enablement agency built around signal-based prospecting, AI-driven workflows, and high-intent outreach. We help B2B companies generate a predictable pipeline, not by playing the volume game, but by being smarter than every other agency in the market.
We're now looking for our Founding BDR, someone hungry, entrepreneurial, and obsessed with winning, to join us as the first full-time seller and help build the outbound engine that scales Clayworks to multiple 7-figures.
This is commission-only to start (with genuinely unlimited earning upside), and the ideal person sees that as an advantage, not a downside.
As the first BDR, you will:
Run outbound prospecting into founders, CROs, Heads of Growth, and revenue leaders.
Book qualified meetings for the Clayworks team using a mix of email, LinkedIn, and calls.
Work closely with the founders to shape messaging, angles, and ICP refinement.
Use our internal AI tooling and signal-based lead systems to find & convert high-intent prospects.
Once proven, you’ll move into:
Leading outbound for select Clayworks clients.
Helping design frameworks, scripts, cadences, and playbooks.
Shaping the BDR hiring profile & mentoring future hires.
Working with the founders to continually improve our signal agents, automation stack, and outreach engine.
This is not a “follow the playbook” role you will write the playbook!
This role is perfect for someone who:
Wants to be a founding team member early, not employee #24.
Is motivated by uncapped earnings and isn’t afraid of commission-only compensation while proving value.
Has previous BDR/SDR experience (agency or SaaS preferred, but not required if you're exceptional).
Is relentlessly competitive, you hate losing more than you enjoy winning.
Is resourceful and scrappy: you’ll figure things out without being spoon-fed.
Loves outbound: messaging, psychology, angles, pattern interrupts, all of it.
Can operate autonomously and with high accountability.
Actually enjoys experimenting with AI and automation tools.

In the first 90 days, you will:
Book consistent, high-quality meetings for the Clayworks founders.
Test and refine at least 3–5 outbound angles that convert.
Demonstrate mastery of our tooling and signal-based workflows.
Build the foundations of Clayworks’ outbound playbook.
By Month 6, you will:
Start owning outbound for at least two Clayworks client's.
Be the benchmark for future BDRs joining the company.
Potentially step into a Lead BDR or Outbound Manager trajectory.
Commission-only to begin.
Top performers will not be capped; if you book pipeline, you get paid, simple.
Equity or retainer-based compensation may be introduced for the right long-term hire once the role is proven.
Fully remote. Operate on European/US time zones.
Work directly with the founders, not buried three layers down.
Build and own the entire outbound engine.
Leverage one of the most advanced AI-powered outbound stacks in the industry.
Zero corporate politics. Speed > bureaucracy.
You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to perform like an owner.
