A leading company in NW England is seeking a Formulation Chemist for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will work on product development, focusing on formulating and testing chemical products. Qualifications

• Previous experience in formulating colloid/surfactant products expected.
• Experience with Homecare or Personalcare products is beneficial.

Formulation Chemist
12 month contract

Our NW based client develops and manufactures a range of chemical products. They are actively looking for a Development Chemist

Duties for this position will include:-
- Working on key product development projects
- Understanding current formulations and devising new / improved formulations
- Blending and testing new formulations for future products
- Generating and interpreting data using established experimental techniques
- Providing feedback on formulation performance to aid development process
- Planning / implementing work programmes

Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) together with previous suitable skills and experience working with colloid / surfactant based formulations. Experience with Homecare / Personalcare products would be beneficial

This is a 12 month contract, offering an attractive salary depending on skills and experience.
