Job overview

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to handle various materials while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties
  • Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Load and unload materials from lorries, maintaining accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system.
  • Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injury.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of materials handling processes.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed.

Daytime Hours Monday to Friday 6am-6pm, overtime available on Sundays.

Night shift Monday to Friday 6pm-6am, overtime available on Sundays, shift enhancement of £105.64 per full week on the night shift.
