A recruitment agency in the Vale of White Horse is seeking a reliable FLT Driver for a temporary role with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will operate forklift trucks in a warehouse setting, ensuring safe and efficient stock management. Previous experience and a valid FLT licence are required. The position offers a pay of £13.50 per hour for a rotating Monday to Friday shift.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck to move, locate, load, and un load goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks (Counterbalance) safely and efficiently
• Load ,and moving stock into storage areas
• Ensure all products are stacked correctly and safely
• Conduct daily safety checks on the FLT equipment
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and complete paperwork as required
• Assist with other general warehouse duties when necessary
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics staff

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance)
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse or distribution environment
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with shifts and overtime when required
• Good communication and team-working skills

Working: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm/10am - 6pm rotating weekly

Pay: £13.50 per hour

This is a temporary role that could go permanent for the right candidate.
