Qualifications

  • Full GMC registration required.
  • Minimum two years as a registrar or specialty doctor.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate handover to colleagues.
  • Review mental state of patients.
  • Manage physical health concerns during inpatient stay.
  • Prepare reports for hearings under supervision.

Skills

Full GMC registration
Experience working in psychiatry
Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
Experience in a similar environment
MRCPsych (desirable)
Section 12 (2) approval (desirable)
AC status (desirable)
At least 2 years in relevant grades
