We are looking to appoint a passionate, creative, and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated practitioner to inspire students and contribute to the development of an engaging, high-quality curriculum.

About the Role
  • Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical lessons that develop students' skills, knowledge, and confidence
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain a safe, well-resourced, and stimulating learning environment

  • Has excellent subject knowledge in Food Technology / Food Preparation & Nutrition
  • Is a skilled classroom practitioner with experience of raising student outcomes
  • Can inspire creativity, independence, and resilience in students
  • Is organised, proactive, and works collaboratively within a team
