Join Sodexo as a Food Service Assistant at Abingdon Preparatory School, Josca's House, Kingston Rd, Abingdon OX13 5NX, where you'll play a vital role in our fast-paced food and beverage operation.

Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience. Hours: 15 hours per week. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (11am-2pm). Term Time? Yes!

Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.

What You’ll Do

• Cook Up a Storm: Prepare mouth-watering meals for our school team and pupils.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain stocked, clean, and hygienic kitchen and serving areas.
• Team Player: Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
• Safety First: Observe food handling and hygiene regulations and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Be the Best: Operate all machines and equipment correctly, upholding our company’s stellar reputation.
