Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at The Warren Holiday Resort, Haulfryn’s flagship luxury destination in beautiful Abersoch.

This hands‑on role is ideal for a confident and motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. You’ll oversee food preparation, presentation and service across our resort, ensuring exceptional quality, smooth operations and a happy, supported team.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee all aspects of food operations, ensuring top‑quality presentation and service.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire chefs and team members to deliver consistently high standards.
  • Support menu creation and development to ensure variety, creativity, and profitability.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost controls effectively.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
  • Foster a positive and professional working culture that supports and develops your team.
  • Balance operational involvement with administrative and compliance responsibilities.
  • Deputise for the Head of Food & Beverage when required.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a food and beverage leadership role.
  • Recognised qualification in hospitality, catering, or culinary arts (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, HND).
  • Health & Safety and Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent cooking knowledge and understanding of all kitchen operations.
  • Clear communicator with enthusiasm, initiative and a professional, approachable manner.
  • Passionate about developing your own skills and supporting others to grow.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
