Job description

Position:FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location:Rochester, Kent.
Salary:£16.89ph
Hours:Rotating Days and Nights (3 days working, 1 day off, 3 nights working, 3 days off). Day shift 0630 to 1830 / Night shift 1830 to 0630
Contract Type:Temporary ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move goods around the yard and plant.
  • Load and unload deliveries with precision.
  • Ensure all products are stored in the correct location and are easily accessible.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • When there is no FLT duties, other work such as cleaning and helping in the plant will be involved.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance license (must be accredited and in-date).
  • Previous experience in operating a Counterbalance FLT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
