Job description
Join Our Team as a Caseworker

We believe in creating a world where women and girls are safe, free, valued, and empowered members of society. We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Caseworker to join our team and walk alongside women on their journey towards stability, safety, and independence.

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you'll provide holistic, person-centred support to women with complex needs. This role is about so much more than meeting targets - it's about empowering women to make positive changes, advocating for their needs, and ensuring they never feel like "just a number."

You will:

  • Build trusted relationships with women, creating tailored support plans using the Women's Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA).
  • Empower women to overcome challenges by connecting them with services, resources, and opportunities.
  • Advocate for women at multi-agency meetings (such as MARAC and safeguarding case conferences).
  • Keep accurate, high-quality records so colleagues can step in seamlessly when needed.
  • Actively contribute to the community by welcoming women into the centre, supporting colleagues, and engaging in activities, fundraising, and events.
  • Take part in reception/Drop-In/Charity Shop duties once a week, ensuring all visitors receive a warm welcome.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, respectful and able to build trust with women from all walks of life.
  • A strong communicator, able to listen deeply and advocate fiercely.
  • Resilient and creative in problem-solving, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Organised, with attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting.
  • A team player - supportive, collaborative, and willing to step in to help colleagues.
  • Open to learning, reflecting, and growing - personally and professionally.

Why Work With Us?

  • Be part of a supportive, values-driven team where we are one team and celebrate each other's successes.
  • Work in an organisation that truly listens to staff and the women we support.
