Job Title: Fire Engineer

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum

Job Description

Daniel Owen is looking for a skilled Fire Engineer to start with one of our clients based within London. This Fire Alarm Engineer will be employed on a permanent basis with a company Van and Fuel Card provided.

In this role, you will be responsible for completing a range of tasks assigned to you, including installation, maintenance, servicing and repairs of Fire Alarms.

You will work across a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within the social housing and local authority sectors. All work must be completed to a high standard, using your technical expertise in line with industry regulations and company expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret fire alarm or AOV drawings and specifications where required and carry out installations accordingly
  • Work safely and in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety and Fire Alarm Regulations
  • Demonstrate experience with a range of Fire Alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems
  • Carry out scheduled servicing of Fire Alarm
  • Maintain and repair Fire Alarm including system modifications
  • Complete full system installations and upgrades
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and job reports using the Oneserve application
  • Ensure full compliance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 Fire Alarm regulations
  • Attend company-provided training sessions as required
  • Participate in performance improvement programmes and regular appraisals
  • Liaise effectively with office staff and supervisors to resolve queries
  • Work to meet company-set KPIs
  • Carry out any additional duties reasonably required by your line manager or company directors
Qualifications & Experience
