Overview

Established for over 20 years, Marlowe Smoke Control are specialists in the supply, installation and maintenance of Smoke Ventilation Systems UK Wide. We are looking for a Service Engineer to work at our sites as a key member of our service and commissioning team.

What are we looking for?

We need a motivated and detail-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing smoke ventilation projects, ensuring compliance and building regulations.

  • Experience of software-based control systems, and an ability to write and update system software, or eagerness to learn.
  • An ability to physically check, maintain, and diagnose mechanical & electrical work.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels.
  • An ability to problem solve, think outside of the box, and provide thorough solutions.
  • Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card.
  • Willing to participate on a weekend cover rota (approximately every 6 weeks).
  • Always aims to deliver great customer service, but you are not afraid to say ‘No’ when needed.
  • Be passionate about buildings and love working with people.
  • You will have a methodical and practical attitude and good attention to detail.
  • You will be a natural and enthusiastic communicator.
Beneficial (not essential)
  • 18th Edition Electrical qualification or other recognised electrical qualification.
  • Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card.
  • Experience working at height.
