Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Sponsors Analyst to join our team in London United. This role you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial sponsors origination team focusing on private equity clients and their portfolio companies.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of companies across various industries

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions

  • Prepare detailed presentations and pitch books for client meetings and internal use

  • Assist in the execution of leveraged financings

  • Perform industry research and market analysis to identify potential lending opportunities

  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop investment theses and strategies

  • Support the due diligence process for potential transactions

  • Maintain and expand relationships with private equity clients and their portfolio companies


Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field

  • Proven experience in professional servicesbanking private equity or a similar role

  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid understanding of private equity and leveraged buyout transactions

  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

  • MBA or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA) are desirable

  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by client needs and project deadlines
