Job summary

A financial services organization in Greater Manchester seeks a Financial Reporting Accountant to handle the Group's external financial reporting, including annual reports and audits. The successful candidate will have an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and experience in IFRS. The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with attention to detail. This full-time position does not support remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting preferred.
• Experience in financial services is beneficial.
• Desire to learn and develop new skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Group's external financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audit requests.
• Produce statutory accounts work papers.
• Manage timetables and stakeholder communication.

Skills

Relevant accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Relevant experience in reporting under IFRS

Statutory accounting audit experience

Strong focus on quality of work

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
