Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of the finance function.
  • Monthly presentation of Management Accounts to Directors.
  • Manage the budgeting process, ensuring effective development and management.
  • Analyse financial data and provide recommendations.
  • Delivery of EBITDA Targets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage external relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assist with preparation of funding packs for acquisitions.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our team and drive the achievement of key business outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial function, initially through the continued growth of Beech Hill Country House and then supporting the group expansion through acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the finance function.
  • Monthly presentation of Management Accounts to Directors.
  • Manage the budgeting process, ensuring budgets are developed and managed effectively.
  • Analyse financial data from multiple sources and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance.
  • Integral part of the management team delivering EBITDA Targets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
  • Managing cash flow and expenses by monitoring transactions and reviewing internal reports.
  • Manage external relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assist with preparation of funding packs for future acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of success in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
