Job summary

A leading law firm in Birmingham is seeking to enhance its Finance Systems Team with a dedicated member who will ensure the efficient operation of the finance system. The successful candidate will manage changes, user accounts, and support colleagues across departments. They must possess strong finance systems knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach to ensure a seamless service delivery. Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of finance systems or other IT systems.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and procedures is desirable.
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Implement changes to the finance system accurately and on time.
  • Manage user accounts in line with the firm’s processes.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and user queries.
  • Maintain and oversee the firm’s Charge Out Rates.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of finance systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
