Job summary

An outstanding independent prep school in Windsor is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their Finance Team. The role involves managing overall financial operations, advising on budgets, and supporting the financial growth of the school. Ideal candidates will have an ACCA/CIMA qualification and significant accountancy experience. This position is permanent with a salary range of £55,000 to £70,000, and opportunities to start as early as January 2026.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years accountancy experience.
• Previous experience of working in a busy Finance Team.
• Previous experience of working in an independent school (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall financial management of the School.
• Work with Governors and Head on financial matters.
• Advise on financial policy, prepare budgets, and monitor income and expenditure.
• Line manage two Assistant Finance Managers.
• Involve in all aspects including invoice entry and bank reconciliation.
