Role Overview

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated individual to take up the post of Finance Manager. This role will support the School Business Manager in all aspects of financial processes. The successful candidate will have a positive and flexible approach while managing a diverse and demanding workload and will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, analytical and innovative. This role provides the opportunity to be part of a forward‑thinking school with a friendly, supportive staff team, committed to providing an excellent education for every student.

The role will ensure processes are as efficient as possible and that management reporting is delivered on a timely basis to enable effective decision‑making at all levels of the school. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day line management of a team of two members of staff and the role will require interaction with the senior leadership team.

Langley Grammar School is a co‑educational 11‑18 selective school with academy status, located within easy reach of Langley station and the M4.
