Job Opportunity: Finance Manager

A prestigious hospitality company based in London is hiring a Finance Manager under a hybrid working policy. This role reports to the Financial Controller and involves leading a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to uphold procurement standards.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Income Audit functions.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant monthly payroll processing.
  • Manage the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement submission.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit controls, legislation, and external audit standards.
  • Prepare journal entries and manage the month-end closing process.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Maintain financial records according to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular process reviews and implement controls to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in recruitment and training of finance personnel.
  • Complete monthly P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and report to stakeholders.
  • Submit VAT returns within HMRC deadlines.
  • Collaborate with operational and support departments to enhance financial performance.
  • Authorize purchase orders, expenses, banking transactions, refunds, and allowances as per company policy.
  • Support financial audits and liaise with group reporting functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Accounting qualification preferred (QBE considered).
  • Previous experience within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 plus healthcare, hybrid working, and bonus.
