We are recruiting for a Finance Manager position with a growing Business Services firm located in Leicester. The salary is up to £50,000, plus benefits and hybrid working options.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join our client in a key role that will shape their financial strategy and support operational excellence. This is an ideal role for an ambitious individual looking to make their first move out of Practice into Industry or someone stepping up from a Management Accountant role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, KPIs, financial reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor budgets, cashflow, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Prepare year‑end statutory accounts and supporting files.
  • Maintain and reconcile internal accounting records using Xero, including VAT submissions.
  • Proactively contribute to the annual budget and long‑term strategic plan.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in management accounting.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in data analytics.
  • Proficient in Xero and payroll systems (knowledge of IRIS, Sage Line 50, Paycircle, and HSBCnet is an advantage).
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, data transformation, modelling).
