Finance Manager

Monday- Friday 8.30-5 pm

We're working with a respected manufacturer, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee finance operations while supporting office management and administrative functions at their UK site. This is a key role within the subsidiary, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with international corporate standards.

The Role

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all finance, accounting, payroll, reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation activities within the UK office. Alongside this, you will oversee elements of office management, logistics, importation administration, and customer service to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will act as a central point of contact between the UK office and the wider international business, ensuring financial compliance, accurate reporting, and consistent processes.

Key Responsibilities: Finance Management
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing
  • Lead month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Complete bank, supplier, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Handle financial reporting, banking activities, and liaise with auditors
  • Oversee invoices, supplier payments, and monthly employee expenses
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting standards and processes
Office & Operations Management
  • Manage office administration, facilities, supplies, and H&S compliance
  • Business or finance-related education with experience in a finance-focused role
  • Strong experience in payroll, month-end reconciliations, invoices, monthly expenses, and balance sheet work
  • Experience in dealing with auditors, financial institutions, and accounting partners
  • Extensive ERP system experience (Oracle, SAP, Infor, etc.)
  • Previous responsibility for office management or HR coordination is highly beneficial
  • Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset
