Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow) and reconciliations.
  • Manage & mentor Finance Team (currently 4), and guide them, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Review & approve entries posted into NetSuite.
  • Finance liaison to key business stakeholders, across various levels of management, including pre-close activities to ensure a smooth close cycle, and providing finance operational support such as reviewing purchase orders, and ensuring proper receiving and accruals.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with month end timetable.
  • Participate in close-the-books process improvement and system optimization projects.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the business meets its operational needs, preparation of supplier / expense runs.
  • Drive the continuous improvement approach across the full range of finance processes and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams, as well as external payroll providers, to ensure finance payroll activities align with monthly timelines.
  • Ensuring balance sheet is fully reconciled and reconciliations are presented monthly for review.
  • Assist Director Of Finance with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience in preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach
  • Experience of managing the Year End Audit process.
