Job description

Due to unprecidented growth this exciting £5 million turnover company is now looking to appoint a self starting Finance Manager to take over and manage the finance function for the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director and Managing Director you will be responsible for a team of 4 staff and take control of the following areas :

• Preparation of the monthly management report pack
• Preparation and development of annual budgets
• Preparing monthly results for management meetings
• Completing month end close
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts including inter-company reconciliations.
• Working with the external Accountants to compile the as Statutory accounts, Corporation tax pack, VAT returns
• Managing the external and internal audit process on site, ensuring assistance is given as required to enable a smooth audit.

You will be a strong communicator, who enjoys a "hands on" position. Strong Excel skills are a pre-requisite as well as confident IT skills. This is a great opportunity with real potential for succession planning for the current FD.
