Overview

Director of Finance and Credit Control – Surrey – Full Time / Hybrid – £90,000-£100,000 per annum + pension and medical benefits

Company

We are a paper, print and managed solutions company, active both in the UK and international markets. We are part of sizable US group servicing brands around the globe and helping clients manage every aspect of their supply chain to maximize cost efficiency and meet business objectives.

Our offices are located in Surrey, within travel distance from London. Office time is typically 1-3 days/week. Flexible working hours.

The Role

The Director of Finance and Credit Control has full end to end responsibility for managing the financial resources of the company.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance and Credit Control will help develop and manage the strategic financial and operational objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities, helping drive commercial best practice to maximize revenues and drive cost efficiencies. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining strict credit control procedures and timely cash collection.

Qualifications & Experience

The Director of Finance and Credit Control will be a growth-oriented leader with at least 6-8 years of broad finance experience to hit the ground running.

As Finance Director you will:

  • Be able to make actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior financial officers in business partner organizations.
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Previous Cash Collection / Credit Control experience, andexperience in dealing with Credit Insurers and Underwriters
  • UK financial and tax reporting experience
  • US GAAP experience is desirable
  • Wood/Paper industry experience is desirable
