Our client, a leading national criminal law firm, is looking for a Finance Director to drive growth, modernise processes, and lead the finance function with a sharp commercial focus.
THE ROLE
Based in London W1
You will need to be a sleeves rolled proactive, commercially astute individual able to participate in a fast-moving fluid business.
SALARY
£70,000 to £120,000, depending on experience, plus bonus structure linked to increase in net profit
You will work with senior leadership to deliver financial strategy, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and enhance commercial performance. Alongside strategic input, you’ll also manage operational finance – payroll, credit control, AP, cashflow – and lead a London-based finance team. You will be key to driving efficiency and implementing scalable, modern processes. The client has the credibility of an established firm with the energy of a start-up.
WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR
Our client is looking to double turnover from £12 – £24 million hence their desire to recruit the right people to join them on their journey. As FD you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Proven law firm finance SRA experience (Legal Aid knowledge advantageous) Blend of strategic leadership and hands-on operational finance Strong team management and mentoring skills Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability Collaborative, commercially astute, and proactive approach Must live within Greater London (M25)
