Finance Data Performance Manager - Hybrid | Basingstoke & Wembley (2 days/week) | Permanent

£68,000 - £78,000 PA + Benefits

Practicus is supporting a reputed housing association with the search for a Finance Data Performance Manager. The role sits in the finance function but works closely with IT, driving better data usage, reducing reliance on spreadsheets, and enabling more effective decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the transition from legacy finance systems to Workday and expand Power BI usage across the finance team
  • Own and deliver finance data reporting and controls, bridging the gap between finance and IT
  • Partner with finance directors and senior leaders to align priorities and build a unified data approach
  • Manage a virtual team of Power BI champions, guiding best practice and embedding governance
Qualifications
  • Strong finance background, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Post Graduate accounting qualification)
  • Expertise in Power BI, DAX and SQL
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with IT teams on data architecture and governance
  • Self-starter with strong organisational skills and collaborative approach
