Overview

Health Innovation Manchester (HInM) harnesses the power of innovation to transform the health and wellbeing of Greater Manchester's 2.8 million citizens. Health Innovation Manchester is hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and commercial expertise to support HInM’s ambitious programme of transformation across health, care, industry, and academia.
• Lead HInM’s finance and procurement work, reporting to the Director of Finance.
• Support financial planning, reporting, governance, and compliance, ensuring the organisation meets its statutory duties and operates sustainably.
• Manage budgeting, financial performance, costing, procurement, commercial contracts, and risk management.
• Act as a trusted adviser to Senior Managers and Delivery Teams, supporting programmes, projects, and strategic decisions.
• Engage with external stakeholders including NHS bodies, universities, local authorities, industry partners, and national funders.
