Finance Business Partner - Contract Role | Location: Farnborough (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) | Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2025 (with potential for extension) | Rate: £39.50/hour (Umbrella) | £29.59/hour (PAYE) | Hours: 37 per week | Clearance Required: BPSS+ (pre-employment checks apply) | Start Date: ASAP | Interview: One-stage process

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing strategic financial insight and challenge
  • Lead monthly reporting cycles with insightful commentary and variance analysis
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Develop robust financial models and business cases to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Financial Control team to ensure data accuracy
  • Deliver cost analysis and performance reporting across cost centres and projects
  • Contribute to board and management reporting packs
  • Drive improvements in financial systems and tools (e.g., D365)
What We\'re Looking For
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Experience in organisations with 200-500 employees preferred
