A local government organization in East Midlands is seeking a Business Analyst to work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve processes. This full-time role involves defining business requirements and supporting project delivery in a hybrid working environment, offering work-life balance. Ideal for candidates with strong analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.
Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / 18 Months Fixed term
Do you have strong business analysis skills and experience in a large or complex organisation?
You'll work with stakeholders across the Council and external suppliers to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll define and document business and system requirements, support the development of business cases and impact assessments (including DPIAs, EIAs and risk assessments), and contribute to the design and implementation of system and process changes.
You'll be part of a small, supportive team and report to the Project Manager. The role involves regular collaboration with ICT, finance, procurement and service leads to support project delivery and drive improvements across the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, based at City Hall with the flexibility to work from home. We offer agile working to promote a healthy work/life balance.
You'll have experience in business analysis or service improvement, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You'll be confident using tools like Excel and Visio, and experienced in analysing processes, producing documentation, and supporting change delivery.
