The Company

I’m supporting a long-standing organisation that operates across multiple service areas and has continued to grow steadily since the millennium. They offer a stable, supportive working environment and have a collaborative finance team that’s genuinely valued within the business.

With continued expansion, they’re now looking to appoint a Finance Assistant in their Aylesford office.

The Role

This is a varied, hands‑on finance role offering broad exposure across the department. While the position is primarily focused on accounts payable, you’ll also support areas such as credit control, reconciliations, invoicing and day‑to‑day banking.

It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, multifaceted role within a growing and well‑structured business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing supplier and customer invoices
  • Managing subcontractor payments and reconciliations
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with reconciliations and process documentation
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting and intercompany movements
  • Investigating and resolving customer payment queries
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Supporting staff expenses, company credit cards and payment imports
  • Assisting with ad‑hoc finance projects as required

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
