Contract Details

This is a Fixed Term contract for 15 months (duration of the apprenticeship).

Pay Rates

• Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates:
  Under 18 years – £14,874 per annum
  18‑20 years – £19,600 per annum
  21+ years – £23,555 per annum
• Level 3 Apprenticeship Rates:
  Under 18 years – £15,144 per annum
  18‑20 years – £19,871 per annum
  21+ years – £23,555 per annum

About the Role

You will work alongside colleagues to provide shared financial support services to each of the providers within the group while studying towards the AAT Level 2 Certificate; progression to Level 3 upon successful completion.

To do AAT Level 2 you will require Maths and English Grade 4/C or equivalent.
To do AAT Level 3 you will require AAT Level 2 at Merit or Distinction grade and Maths and English 4/C.

Responsibilities

• Provide a customer-focused, responsive, and quality financial service supporting the finance team in their day-to‑day, month‑end, and year‑end duties.
• Maintain and contribute towards developing the financial control environment by ensuring financial best practice is embedded, fully operated at all times, and documented, including implementation of updates to financial policies and regulations.
• Undertake studies towards successful completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
• Comply with Luminate Education Group Financial Regulations and Procedures and maintain a pro‑active and diligent approach to fraud awareness.
