An environmental non-profit organization in Great Wigborough is seeking a proactive full-time administrator to manage office administration tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining records, managing supplies, and supporting insurance queries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and confidence in Microsoft Office. We have an opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join our Finance and Systems Directorate.
The postholder will assist the department, consisting of finance, health and safety and facilities, with general office administration work involving updating and maintaining records within systems, ordering of supplies for the Trust, managing incoming post and enquiries. Other duties include administration support for insurance queries, issuing and recording of IT equipment and mobile phones (new employees, leavers and replacements) and supporting with facilities documentation and contractor management. Given the broad scope of the role, the successful person must be a well‑organised and proactive administrator who is able to manage time well to meet deadlines and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. It is essential that the post holder is able to work autonomously, have a can‑do approach to work and working with others and be confident using the Microsoft Office suite of applications. The position is a permanent, full‑time role working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The starting salary for this post is £24,267.85 per annum (FTE). The base of work will be Abbotts Hall, Great Wigborough. Essex Wildlife Trust offers flexible homeworking arrangements. Further details of the hybrid‑working arrangements will be shared at interview.
