Finance Analyst

Description

The Finance Analyst will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining the financial control framework across the UK operating businesses. This position supports the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting through effective analysis, reconciliation, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end close activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, including P&L analysis to assist the FP&A team.
  • Prepare initial month-end commentary for review and feedback.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to maintain robust financial control.
  • Administration of key accounting processes (e.g. Capex), implementing robust monthly routines to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analytical support as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Be part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Demonstrate strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
