Role Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Engineer
  • You will manage and develop sales in line with the UK business plan, supported by internal technical, production, and customer service teams.
  • Managing and developing sales with existing accounts while generating new business.
  • Creating structured visit plans using CRM and sales data, focusing on priority customers.
  • Identifying opportunities, solving customer application problems, and providing technical advice.
  • Negotiating and reviewing contracts, ensuring effective and profitable customer relationships.
  • Reporting market intelligence and completing accurate CRM‑based sales reports.
  • Managing territory efficiently with strong time and travel planning.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure excellent service and on‑time delivery.
  • Attending sales meetings, quarterly reviews, and completing required training (internal/external, face‑to‑face or online).
Specification of a Technical Sales Engineer
